COVID-19
Re-Opening Guidelines
Being that the very nature of our businesses is health and safety, we will be and are committed to taking many precautions to keep you and your family safe. Depending on the type of services you have some of these safety measures may or may not apply to you. Most of the precautions we take will be actions we carry out on our end. However, there are a few that we will require our clients to abide by, so that we can keep you, your family, our team members, other clients, and our community, safe, happy, and healthy.
Section A: Pet Sitting Guidelines
Section B: Dog Walking Guidelines
Section A (Pet Sitting Service Guidelines):
- Clients must leave more than enough paper towels for us to use for cleaning. We will not use any cloth towels for cleaning.
- We will be wearing a mask (mouth and nose face-covering) the entire time we are on your property.
- Before and after each visit to a client’s home, we will clean our hands with CDC recommended hand sanitizers or soap.
- While we are inside your home, we will touch, as little as possible, the things in and around your home.
Section B (Dog Walking Service Guidelines):
- If you will be home while we are walking your dog(s), we will not come inside your home.
- If you will be home while we are walking your dog(s), we will send you a text message or call you when we have arrived. We then ask that you put on her collar, leash, booties, etc… and hand us the leash (You can hold the loop end of the leash while we grab a lower portion of it.). When your dog(s) returns home, we will reverse this process.
- We will be wearing a mask while we are walking your dog(s) and the entire time we are on your property and in your immediate community.
- Before and after each visit to a client’s home, we will clean our hands with CDC recommended hand sanitizers or soap.
- While we are walking your dog(s), if we touch anything outside your home (such as dog waste bags/bins), we will loop your dog(s) leash around our arm and clean our hands with CDC recommended hand sanitizers before grabbing her leash again. If you will not be home while we are walking your dog(s), we will clean our hands again, before entering back into your home to drop your dog(s) off.
- If you will not be home, we will keep our time spent inside your home to a minimum and touch only necessary things such as your dog(s) food and water dishes, door handles, etc…
- If you will be home while we are walking your dog(s), we will, again, clean our hands with the CDC recommended hand sanitizer, before handing you her leash.
- If someone at your home is sick, we ask that you please notify us. At that point, we may temporarily discontinue your dog(s) walks.
